what is the difference between diet support formula's & thermogenic pills?
I was looking through GNC.com and looking at buying some weight managment pills just to give a push during my workout. I notice they break down the catergories. For example, Slimquick Extreme is a diet support while Hydrocut Hardcore is a thermogenic.
A thermogenic increases the heat your body makes, and will use up more energy in a given period. The problem with them is that being permanantly hot can be a serious problem to the rest of the family when you want wiondows open when its -30 outside!!! lol Seriously though, the effects can be very damaging to some people and its not unknown for people to suffer symptoms akin to heat stroke with them. The effects are relatively short lived too. It has been proved that the heat producing effects stop after around 3 weeks. Then once they stop you could find that your body goes into a reactive hypometabolism (slows right down).
