How can I stay motivated when doing a workout video? Pump it up Aero burn is fab but I get disheartened?
I feel silly cos I can't keep up with the workout no matter how gentle it is, and feel even fatter. It'd be easier to sit and watch the DVD eating a cake or something and just pine after the lovely, sleek, gazelle like bodies of the dancers. I so badly want to lose weight but get so disheartened, I'm worried the workout video doesn't even help you lose weight, what can I do?
I am reasonably fit and I find the Ministry of Sound DVD's reeeeeally hard work!!! They're fun but so strenuous and I have occasionally given up after feeling like I'm going to die!!
They are broken down into sections so you need to make it manageable for you. Don't try to do the whole thing straight away...build up to it slowly. Maybe do the warm up, your favourite section from the main part, and then the cool down. Then build up to doing 2 sections, 3, and so on..
Make a timetable for when you are going to do it and stick to it no matter what!! Keep a glass of water handy and keep hydrated.
Wear comfy gym clothes.
Try and have fun with it! If you find it too much don't give up, just do a shorter work out xx
