How much protein supplement should I take?
I lift every other day and play a pick up game basketball on those days. I'm 5'9" 160lb and I would like to pack on another 10-15 lbs. How many grams of supplement protein should i be taking on top of my "average" eating habits. How much is too much protein for someone my size?
take the ~50g(2 scoops) of protein after your workout.
Then if you want, another shake before sleep to help rebuild while sleeping, and so you dont lose weight during the night.
You should take ~1g/lean body mass.
So +100g, for you, would be just fine.
