If you are obese you need to consume large amounts of protein if you're planning on building muscle?
I 'm trying to lose weight and put on muscle, and I was wondering if I will need to eat a diet based on proteins or will be stored fat fuel muscles.
The "fat stores" will not "fuel" your muscles, but it will to some extent give energy your body if you're in a calorie deficit. It's also a way for you to go if you are obese. You should definitely not focus on the muscles during the construction of your health could be compromised. Now, building muscle and burning fat does not go hand in hand.
