How bad is it to eat a diet that consists mostly of protein bars?
I have eaten a protein bar every day for breakfast for the past 5 or 6 years. By protein bars I mean Balance or Power bars. A lot of times I will eat them for lunch as well. I have eaten them for all three meals, although that is not typical. At least one if not two meals is typical for me.
I have a lot of digestive and health problems and I'm starting to wonder how bad this habit is on my health. Where are some good resources for me to read about this?

Depending on what you can and cannot consume, I would go with whole foods. Bars are good but try (if possible) to take in whole foods as well. Also, you can take hig quality chemical free whey protein minus any fillers or additives. Good luck hope this helps.
