How to increase muscle gain?

I'm a 16 year old male and have Bern going to the gym for over a month. I am following a work out that a trainer personalised for me designed to build lean muscle, I'm taking two protein shakes a day at the recomended times but I really amn't seeing gains. Should I wait or is there something else I can do?
Appreciate any advice from more experienced people, thanks!

You have to give it time. One month of lifting weights is not enough to start to see significant gains. You will gradually start to see them, but its a longer process and as long as you are following the program that your trainer has given you, and you are eating a good diet with enough protein to facilitate the muscle gains, then you will start to see them within the next couple of months. If you still don't see any gains in a few weeks time, then you need to talk to your trainer and get him to adjust the workout plan, as it may not be enough currently to help you gain, and you may need something more advanced.
