What are the best places to live around Stanford University? Is Palo Alto the best option?
Need to be able to get to Stanford within about half an hour by public transit...should we be looking at anything except Palo Alto? I don't know the Bay Area very well, but will probably be moving next summer.
Well you can always live on campus.
You can also live along the Caltrain Line. Near most of the Caltrain Stations in the South Bay, theirs lots of apartments near the stations. (Its a new thing, building apartments and condos near BART stations and Caltrain Stations. Theirs so many new ones popping up.)
Then from there you can take Caltrain directly to Stanford.
