MASS EFFECT: Ashley vs. Tali?
In the original game my guy... ahem, enjoyed the nighttime company of Ashley Williams. things were good until the sequel came along, and made my other favorite female character a romantic option: Tali'Zorah nar Rayya. Now I don't know what to do: Ashley is a tough and yet affectionate character ( albeit not a squad member). While Tali is unsure of herself and yet is brave and sweet. I don't know what to do: remain faithful to Ashley, or go with the (in a few ways) cooler one Tali? Could someone give me pros and cons as well as their opinion please!
There are a couple of options you can do. You can playthrough ME2 and romance Tali. Then reimport your save and stay faithful to Ash, that way you have two game saves to go with.
The only thing with having just one playthrough, if you end up romancing Tali, I'm not sure how that will carryover to ME3. It seems like the Virmire Survivor and Liara will have more complete follow-up in romances in ME3, so you may want to keep that in mind if you decide to only have one save to import.
I am having a similar problem with Thane and Kaidan, and decided to make several playthroughs that are ready for import into ME3. Both character have things I like and dislike, but for me the ultimate issue comes down to who will have a most satisfying ending in ME3 with my Shepards.
I love both Ash and Tali, also, depsite going with Liara and Miranda on my male playthoughs. Ash is fiery, passionate, and doesn't back down easily. Tali is a leader in her own right, though. She can be pretty fiery and passionate, but being a quarian makes her very community-oriented towards her own people, and in her romance, she seems to get quite the adorable shy-streak.
I would recommend to do more than one save, so you get the option of seeing both romances through to the end.
