How Long Does it Take to Notice Muscle Growth?
I'm curious how long it takes for muscle growth to be noticeable when you're doing a 3-times-per-week workout routine.
I'm just doing a mild routine of 4 repetitions of 12 on 4 machines every couple of days. Of course, I can't take a lot of weight right now, but I'm sure it will improve. Afterward, I'm pretty tired too . . .
I'm hoping I will notice results within 25 days, at least mildly . . . I want to impress somebody, lol.
Yes, you should definitely see some gains after three weeks. You may not look bulky, but you will definitely be more shaped and toned enough to be noticeable.
I think you mean 12 reps of 4 sets, correct. Yes, that is a good ratio. I would definitely increase the number of exercise machines used, and slowly increase your weight lifted, but no more than 5 lbs increases per visit. I would try to focus on the body areas that you want to improve on (i.e chest, shoulders, etc.), but continue to work ALL the areas. Back exercises are just as important as the chest and arm exercises when it comes to looks
...and don't waste time trying to get washboard abs, an almost impossible task for the normal person, just work the abs as you would any muscle group.
Also stay away from the protein powders ans other gaining supplements, those are for hardcore lifters, all you need is a healthy diet to provide the required nutrients for low to medium lifting.
