MONSTER Milk or MONSTER Mass?
From what i have read about the two, they sound the same. I am looking for getting a lot stronger and building mass, so i figured MONSTER Mass(that's the name). But then I read about MONSTER Milk and apparently it packs on mass too. So I'm just trying to figure out which one i should use.
Btw, im 14, 5ft7'', 120lbs, pretty lean already trying to gain at least 20lbs of muscle for next year.
i want to gain muscle mass. The diet i am doin wants me to be eating 1750 calories, 140 grams of protein, 70 grams of fat, and 717.5 grams of carbs. In order to gain that mass. So now, which should i use? MONSTER Milk or MONSTER Mass?
you do realize that your numbers don't add up right?
715.5g of carbs = 2862 caloris
70g's of fat = 630 calories
140g's of protein = 560 calories
in total you'll then be consuming 4052 calories at a horrible ratio of 70.6% of your diet being carbs, 15.5% fat and 13.9% being fats
you don't have enough fats in your diet to absorb most vitamins and minerals
you don't have enough protein for THAT calorie diet.
you have way too much carbs
in other words, re assess your numbers and then try again.
also, if you want to be 140lbs, your calorie needs is closer to 3000, than it is to 2,000
lastly, to be more on par with your question, the name doesn't matter don't get fooled into marketing
read the labels, from a protein shake you need ~20g's- 40g's of protein (1 serving ~20, 2 servings ~40) if it's a "mass" then it should be relatively high in carbs we'll use 1 serving as an example
assuming
1 serving
20g's of protein
30g's - 35g's of carbs (will be optimal)
5-8g's of fat
^is more or less what you're looking for
lastly, not any fat will cut it in this diet, only natural fats...ie nuts..etc
