For a work out, how often should I drink CytoSport's muscle milk?
Well I'm 14 years old, 5'6' in height, and I weigh about 115-120 lbs. I work out every night before I go to sleep by lifting 10 pound and 15 pound weights like 50 times, but I am thinking this stuff will help me build muscle faster. I have searched around the internet for this answer, but there are soo many different answers. There probably will be for this question too, but it is more detailed, haha. Uhm, there kinda expensive so I don't really wanna take 3 a day like I see on a lot of websites. If I workout before I go to sleep and I drink it while I am working out, shouldn't I be good? Just give me the best answer you can. But not saying I don't need to work out or anything like that, lol. Thanks!
The 3 a day advice is for semiprofessional to professional bodybuilders only. This is no territory for a 14 year old. Twice a week is good enough for you but consuming too much isn't good for your body at this stage. 16 is a recommend age.
Consume the protein immediately after your workout. Make sure you eat properly one hour before your workout so you have enough energy to lift the weights, or you'll get fatigued very quickly.
