isolation with cuckoo's nest and clockwork orange?
okay so for my english class, i need to write a paper answering the question "how does society try to isolate or confine people from the real world" with the movies one flew over the cuckoo's nest and A clockwork orange. i am really stuck, and any ideas will be greatly appreciated, thank you 
Why don't you download both films and watch them and stop getting other people to do your homework for you! That said, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest is also about man's fight against adversity, tyranny and doing the right thing. It is a really good film. A Clockwork Orange was banned for a reason. When it came out, Stanley Kubrick got death threats because a lot of people thought the film was sick.
When the blurb on the front of the dvd case reads:
"Being the adventures of a young man whose principle interests are rape, ultra-violence and Beethoven." You know it's going to be entertaining.
It is a very violent film showing how a part of society thinks it can get away with anything, and show no respect for other people's property, values, or life. It is also about free will verses the state.
