I want to gain more muscle and minimize cardio, does it work?

Ok, I have been training intensely for the last 12 months. Ive been to diet (eat small, every 2-3 hours) and glutamine and protein to make muscle. I saw a lot of progress months, but I'm not there yet. I want to get a little bigger. I would consider myself fairly lean and toned, so my body fat is quite low. I thought cardio if i cut up to half an hour per week (half an hour intense), and 4 more on my training days I do intense weight training. Would it work more muscle mass ... I think his heart keeps me from winning something. For the record: I do not weight by the textbook. 3 sets of 10 repetitions (4-5 different exercise per muscle group) and weight more than jobs to go i. I use proper form and get proper rest.
