How long does it take to gain muscle mass?
To be more precise, I'm going to the gym 4 times a week working on specific muscles. I take a whey protein shake twice a day and 11 grams of L-glutamine per day. How long would it take to gain muscle mass and how long it usually take for me to see results? Your answers will greatly help me thank you very much. 
First off, if you want see significant gain weight stop doing exercises that target specific muscles. Also stop reading magazines and doing fitness workouts they recommend. They are completely useless. The supplements are fairly useless, but that is another discussion all together. You must do exercises compounds that use multiple muscles through exercise. The three best exercises anyone looking to add mass and strength are the squat, deadlift, and lying. To gain weight fast you need to eat eat eat and eat some more. It's a matter of calories. They key is to do a healthy manner and remember that the protein is extremely important when building muscle as well as recovery on your days off.
