Hey im trying to gain weight so what would be the best weight gaining protein powder to use?
Hey im trying to gain weight but i have a high metabolism so i need to get in more calories and protein after workouts and between meals so what would be the best protein powder weight gainer
i kinda wanna try (monster mass by cytosport)
i just got done with(real mass by gaspari nutrition) and i gained only 3 pounds after finishing the whole 5lb tub
So what would be the best suggestion for me to use or what would you recommend i use
Eating more calories will help if you are trying to gain weight, and a protein shake is a good and easy way to add more calories to your diet. Since you are trying to gain weight, I would suggest mixing the protein with a carb, like a fruit or cereal. Besides Elite, I like Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey and their Casein (a slower digesting protein). Both taste great (better than Elite). If u buy it over the net thru VitaminShoppe, the cost is about the same. I just bought a 5.17 bottle of Optimum Whey for about $40, and bought enough other stuff to qualify for free shipping. I drink 2-3 shakes per day, depending on if I weight train that day. When I was trying to gain weight, I'd mix 1 scoop chocolate whey(elite), 1 scoop vanilla casein (optimum), 1 cup Honey Bunches of Oats cereal with 1 cup water/milk combo...so freaking delicious!!!!!!
Bottom line, you need to eat more!
