What are some things to heat in the microwave that make cool explosions?

I have tried slicing grapes in half and putting them in, but all they do is make a sizzling noise. I don't want to put something in my microwave that will cause a huge forest fire or blow the door off of it. But if anyone knows something that makes some nifty sparks (besides metal objects) or a small explosion contained within the microwave, that would be great!

marshmallows are cool, they get bigger and bigger, tin foil is fun just put it in for like 5 seconds and go up from that cause you dont want explosions that can start a fire, the tin foil will change colors (i think) and it will get really hot so dont touch it until it cools down
