my dog is 17yrs.old she has arthrises in her back legs I give her glucosamine joint care?
but it don't seem to be working very well any more,I don't want to put her down,because she still acts like a puppy,are there anything else I could give her,like a pain pill.thank you

Glucosamine can help lubricate the joints, but it's not a replacement for pain control. Talk to your vet about Carprofen (available as a generic and inexpensive compared to other treatments), Deramaxx, Metacam, etc.
